Welcome To My Newly Designed Website!
It is finally here...my new website. Well actually, it is not new, I have been here before. This is the new design, and feel that I hope will get across to you my viewers, my style and who I am as a photographer.
A person would think that after they have already created a website that the second time around would be easy. Let me tell you...I think it is harder! Call me a perfectionist, but you just want to make sure it is right the second time around. You want to make sure that how you come across hopefully is how people perceive. I hope that I have been able to achieve that. However, without the help of a few key people, I am pretty darn sure I would still be working at this as we speak! To Julie from Blend, my designer who took my vision and with little to no direction created exactly what I wanted. I pretty much handed her the reins, and said, "this is the feel I want, but have not clue what I want it to look like." She did an amazing job, and I thank you Julie. Secondly, and as equally important was Calvin from Bionic Entrepreneur, my developer. He is the guy that makes my site work. We spent many hours after the tick of 12:00 a.m. emailing back and forth wondering if we were the only ones alive on the planet at those indecent hours of the morning (some nights). Without Calvin, my site would definitely not be as fantastic as it is and he had a solution for any of my problems, requests or just momentary 'brain lapse' moments. Hopefully Calvin, you and I both will not have those kinds of hours in the future for any reason....sleep is important! To my developer and designer a huge thank you!
To my sister Carrie of Liquid Light Photography in Airdrie, who has the brains to wrap her head around excel spread sheets like no one else I know, and hours hammering out pricing, and packages, etc. Thank you Carrie, where I lack, you have definitely filled in. I guess we can't always be good at 'everything' and there is a reason for that! It is truly great having someone to bounce ideas off of even though we each have our own direction and purpose.
And lastly of course, and definitely at the top of my list, is my family. Jynae, Holly, Bree, Trey & Kyle. Without all of your understanding and months of patience & support...I am sure I would not be here today either. Every time mommy would say, "I think it will be only another week," you would all just look at me and tell me, "okay." Even though I knew that you knew, it would be longer!
And extra last, but truly important is to all of you who have supported me this last year and a half. Without you all I am sure I wouldn't be here as well. Thank you to all of you!
Here is a little video that hopefully pulls together and represents who I am as a photographer, and why I love what I do. If you haven't already seen it yet, I am told you may need a kleenex box! Enjoy :o)
Watch for the upcoming issue of Country Guide (Western Edition) Magazine. There will be a piece highlighting Greg & Heather Broughton of the Meeting Creek/Donalda area. I am the photographer for the spread! I will post when it comes out :o)
Many of you have seen the ever popular Apple Print displayed in certain locations & as donations at local charity events. Many of you are in love with it! The only catch, is that this is a Limited Edition print and there are only 30 prints that will ever be printed.
Currently 6 of those 30 prints have already been sold! Why is it a Limited Edition Print? Well I am an individual that enjoys unique pieces and I do not want to see my piece in every home...then it wouldn't be unique!
Since Christmas is just around the corner, I thought it would be wonderful for many of you to be able to proudly display this piece of artwork in your own home and enjoy a savings of 15% off of the regular price. This offer is open until November 10, 2009 and all orders will be placed on November 11, 2009. This will allow enough time to have your print in time for Christmas. You can find the print in the Boutique and can be ordered in either a gallery wrapped canvas or a mounted, laminated print (ready for framing). But hurry, only 24 prints remain as of today......
COUPON CODE: APPLE15
Expires: November 10, 2009

Up & Coming for Tasha Ramstad Photography
It seems as though 2009 has just about flown right by literally! Hard to believe that Christmas....yes, Christmas is not that far away. I am now booking into January of 2010, as 2009 is all booked up! Stay tuned for some changes that I have coming in 2010. I am currently working on a new design for my website, possibly getting an actual studio set up, adding new prints to the Boutique & a few other things I have up my sleeve including Boudoir Photography. This isn't just for the ladies either! Look for my Guys & Gals section by Tasha Ramstad Photography, coming in 2010.
Red Deer, Alberta: Tasha Ramstad Photography
It is sometimes a little difficult photographing the younger generation of men, but Tyson was a real pleasure to work with, and such a photogenic 16 year old. I took him out to the Canyon just outside of Red Deer, and was pleased with the outcome of his photos. Here are just a few. Thanks Tyson for being so awesome to work with!
